Monteagle Inn & Retreat Center is the perfect place for your "Wedding Central" location, where you can spend time with those people closest to you during this most special time in your life. Memories of a lifetime are made here at the Inn. We have the most comfortable rooms on the Sewanee-Monteagle Mountain, beautiful settings for dinners, receptions, brunches and a dedicated Events Coordinator to assist you in the planning and execution of your wedding functions.
By booking the entire Inn for your select guests, you can gather and spend this special time with the people who mean the most to you. In addition to the 13 guest rooms and cottage, the public spaces become your own private retreat during the weekend to linger over breakfast, enjoy the large Living Room to visit and relax. The garden and gazebo, the patio, front porch and hammocks are all nice outside areas to enjoy a refreshing drink and an opportunity to relax.
The bright and lively Dining Room comfortably accommodates a seated dinner for up to 70 guests or can serve as the buffet area for an outside dinner for up to 125 on the Patio or even up to 450 on the West Lawn. When used for a casual Sunday brunch the morning after, the Inn has accommodated over 150 guests.
The Living Room with its collection of oriental rugs and Italian art serves as a gracious reception area and setting for the wedding cakes. It is a spacious and extremely comfortable room with multiple seating areas.
The Conference Room is a private space which is perfect for Bridesmaid's luncheons or other small intimate gatherings for up to 35 people. Just off the patio, it is centrally located but very private at the same time.
Our Events Coordinator, will help you arrange all of your event needs such as flowers, decorating, caters, musicians, photographers and all desired rentals. She will even arrange meeting with clergy and a wedding coordinator who handles any other details you desire. She has all of the important contacts throughout the Sewanee-Monteagle area to accommodate all of your needs and desires.
She can also arrange for numerous activities for your wedding party and guests ranging from golf on the Jack Nicklaus' course at Bear Trace, tours of Sewanee, the Monteagle Sunday School Assembly and the Jack Daniels Distillery, visits with artisans and nature walks or even some very special shopping.

We anticipate and accommodate your every need and customize the meeting and meals to your requirements. We have 13 comfortable guestrooms each with their own private full bath, and have partnered with a nearby Bed and Breakfast in order to accommodate additional overnight meeting attendees.
The Conference Room is a private and comfortable setting for a meeting of up to 35 people in a classroom style setup and 30 in a corporate style setup. The Conference Room has a high speed DSL connection and wireless for offsite as well as teleconferencing capabilities. A projection screen, video projector, TV with DVD & VHS, PolyCom Sound Station Conference Call phone system, flipcharts and other meeting materials you may require are available for you use. A handicap accessible bathroom with 3 water closets is adjacent to the conference room and patio.
The Dining Room can be comfortably arranged for a breakfast, lunch, dinner meeting or accommodate a meeting for up to 60 people. The Dining Room has wireless and a high speed DSL connection for offsite input. We provide customizes meals, meeting food and beverage service to serve the most discriminating taste both during the meetings, at mealtime, and evening receptions. We structure the menus around your desires & dietary requirements and offer numerous choices of our house specialties.
