Come! Arcady Vineyard B&B offers guests several different getaway experiences all in one location, wrapped in casual luxury! Let a local vineyard owner help craft your getaway to the Historic Virginia Wine Country.

Sitting on 14 wooded acres and a vineyard of 350 grape vines, Arcady Vineyard B&B is located just 6.5 miles from the excitement of downtown Charlottesville, and the historic pedestrian walking mall with several unique shops and restaurants. Don't feel like driving to dinner? No worries, Uber comes in minutes and charges about $15.

Newly built in a craftsman style, all the spacious rooms at Arcady are located on the ground floor, with private bath and wine fridge with a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine and soft drinks. New for 2017 are smart TV's where you can catch up on all your Netflix favorites. Three rooms have whirlpool tubs and vineyard views, 2 have fireplaces and 2 provide a private entrance. Every evening a turndown is offered of estate-grown Amorone style dessert wine with local artisan chocolate, and each morning a full country-fresh breakfast is served at individual tables set for two.

For a Wine Country Getaway, there are 5 wineries within a 10 mile drive, 7 more within a 20 mile drive, and another 10 within a 30 mile drive. Guests of Arcady enjoy a discounted wine tour with our affiliate company, Monticello Appellation Wine Tours.  For the craft beer lover, the "ale trail" is about 20 miles away, and 6.5 miles from the inn in downtown Charlottesville, you will find three craft breweries.

History buffs will find themselves amid the homes of three U.S. Presidents.  Just 2.5 miles from Arcady are the homes of Thomas Jefferson's Monticello and James Monroe's Ashlawn Highland. James Madison's Montpelier is a scenic 25 mile drive north of Arcady.

Your stay with us begins with a complimentary welcome glass of local wine at check in.  Homemade cookies, popcorn and fruit are always available in one of several common areas, ideal for gathering with friends or family.  Relax in our library where you can peruse one of our many eclectic titles or try your hand at one of our games or puzzles.  For the outdoor lover, you'll find a hammock for two just steps from our newly built expansive decking and a walking trail through our woods which border World Heritage site Monticello.  A romantic stroll through our vineyard may find you meeting up with our family of deer who frequently roam the grounds.

Food & Wine

Breakfast at Arcady Vineyard is served at tables set for two. Ingredients are sourced locally - local eggs, organic sausage and bacon, and fresh herbs. The style is farm fresh, depending on wonderful ingredients from local farms rather than the complicated.

Guests are first served a freshly baked muffin and fruit course, which is followed by a main course alternating between sweet and savory. Some favorites are Arcady's banana macadamia nut pancakes, herbed scrambled eggs with roasted rosemary potatoes, and our Belgian waffles with fresh fruit.

Coffee and tea are set out at 7:00am and guests are encouraged to come get a cup and enjoy it in their room or out on the back deck off the dining room.
