The Museum of Arts & Sciences in Daytona Beach is a not-for-profit educational institution that was founded in 1955. Located on a Florida nature preserve, the facility hosts over 30,000 objects including artifacts, artwork, furniture, and fossils related to regional natural history. Spend an Afternoon at the Daytona Museum of Arts and Sciences


The museum’s state-of-the-art Planetarium is a 94-seat facility that explores the many wonders of the universe. The Planetarium features a brand new digital projector that displays star shows and full-dome HD movies of all types and genres. Be sure to check out the Live “Exotic Moons of the Solar System” Show where you’ll discover some of the most eclectic moons in our Solar System. A live presenter will even share vibrant images and animations captured from telescopes and spacecrafts!

West Wing of the Museum

The newly-rebuilt West Wing opened on October 30, 2015. This expansive area is home to the Cuban Foundation Museum, the Karshan Center of Graphic Art, the Gillespy Gallery featuring African artifacts, the Marzullo Gallery featuring weaponry from around the world, and the Prehistory of Florida Gallery. Check out each gallery or choose a few of your favorites and spend a few hours exploring the wing.

Cici and Hyatt Brown Museum of Art

The Cici and Hyatt Brown Museum of Art is home to the most extensive collection of Florida art in the world. Inside the 26,000-square foot museum, guests can browse a collection of Florida-themed oil and watercolor paintings dating back to the early 1800’s. It’s a wonderful place to learn about the geography and natural history of Florida.
