About the Hudson-Chatham Winery

Hudson-Chatham Winery is located in Ghent, NY, which is between Chatham and Hudson. The winery was founded by Carlo and Dominique DeVito who had a longtime love of wine.  The Hudson-Chatham Winery specializes in small hand-made batches of wine which exemplify the richness of the Hudson River Valley and it's deep culture, literature, art, and agriculture. It is also the first winery in the Columbia county. The winery produces a wide range of wines, many of which are award-winning. These wines include:

Things to Do at Hudson-Chatham Winery

There are many great things to do at Hudson-Chatham Winery.  There is a tasting room in which you can sample the wines with an informative guide to tell you more about the selections. The tasting room is open Wednesday to Sunday from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm.  The winery also hosts wine dinners to exemplify how well the wines pair with foods. You may also enjoy exploring the grounds on a vineyard tour, which features a historic 1780 farmhouse and a gazebo with scenic views. There's nothing better than a day in a beautiful place, enjoying fine wine, cheeses, and desserts. And there are often special events at the winery. For example, each August, Hudson-Chatham winery plays host to a Sangria Festival!
