The city of Atlanta, Georgia has so many charms.  Residents and visitors to the city get the experience of a large metropolitan area without sacrificing friendly faces and southern charm. One of the most popular parts of the city is Midtown Atlanta.  This district is located between Buckhead to the north and Downtown to the south. 1. Visit Piedmont Park

An urban oasis, Piedmont Park is the perfect place for those who love the outdoors to find fun things to do in Midtown Atlanta this spring.  The park has been operating since 1904 and is open from 6:00 am to 11:00 pm. Park amenities include baseball diamonds, bocce courts, basketball courts, a tennis center, picnic shelters, gazebos, playgrounds, dog parks, gardens, and large stretches of open grassy space.

2. See a Show at the Fox Theatre

The Fox Theatre has long been a go-to destination for people looking for fun things to do in Midtown Atlanta. Originally built as a home for the Atlanta Shriners in 1928, the teather was later purchased by movie mogul William Fox as a movie palace.  The Fox is still home to the larges Moeller theatre organ in the world, which was installed before its opening.  Today, big name musical artists and travelling performers take the stage at Fox Theatre.  This spring's shows include performances by Blue Man Group, Jeff Foxworthy, Death Cab for Cutie, Steve Winwood, Celtic Woman, and Pippin.

3. Indulge Your Artistic Side at the High Museum of Art
