Western New York Attractions You May Not Know About

New York, Things to Do Select Registry – May 15, 2014

When you think about Western New York, where does your mind immediately shift? If you are one who typically has food and drink on your brain, then maybe Mighty Taco, chicken wings, birch beer, or Loganberry come to mind (as well they should!). Perhaps you are a person who quickly remembers natural beauty, in which case Niagara Falls could come crashing to your brain. Often times, though, it’s the not-as-popular restaurants or landmarks that can leave the longest impression. Take a look at some of these Western New York attractions that you might not know about but that you would be sure to remember if you get the chance to experience.

The Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural National Historic Site – Buffalo

Go visit the place where President Theodore Roosevelt was sworn into office. You will find historical artifacts and exhibits so real to life that you will think you are right there with President Roosevelt.

Three Brothers Wineries and Estates – Geneva

You will be able to experience three distinct wineries and a fabulous microbrew in this one location. Try a fine Riesling, a blended sweet wine, or a delicious beer, all within a short walk of each other. You are sure to find something that your taste buds will delight in.

Seabreeze Amusement Park – Rochester

Seabreeze Amusement Park will provide you with a day full of fun and adventure. With nearly a dozen roller coaster and thrill rides, as well as an expansive water park, you can keep the adrenaline pumping all day long.

Finger Lakes National Forest – Burdett
