Jackson Hole, Wyoming is a beautiful area of the United States to visit year-round. Grand Targhee Ski Area
Grand Targhee Ski Area is another great place to experience Jackson Hole skiing. This massive ski area covers more than 2,600 acres of land and gets more than 500 inches of snowfall each year. The mountain has a base area elevation of 7,851 feet with a vertical drop of 2,270 feet. The Grand Targhee area has five ski lifts, 15 kilometers of Nordic Ski Trails, a winter terrain park, a tubing park, and a ski and snowboard school. Snowshoe tours, backcountry tours, snowmobile tours, and snow biking are also popular activities on the mountain. The resort’s other amenities include: a nature center, rental shops, boutiques, restaurants, bars and cafes.
Snow King is home to year-round recreation and in the winter the area offers more than just Jackson Hole skiing. The recreational area includes tubing trails, ice climbing, snowshoeing, and cross country skiing.
