Lehigh Valley, PA consists of the cities of Bethlehem, Easton, Phillipsburg, Allentown and their surrounding towns and villages. This area in eastern Pennsylvania has rich history, scenic beauty, and some great charm, making it the perfect destination for some late summer fun! Blueberry Festival | July 18th - July 20th | Bethlehem, PA

Each July, the town of Bethlehem in Lehigh Valley, PA celebrates with a weekend of music, dance, crafts, history, games, food, contests and ore.  Burnside Plantation is known as the “Farm in the City”and is an idyllic setting for some good old fashioned fun.  Whether you want to take in some great live music, learn about traditional crafts, or even participate in a pie-eating contest, this summer event is a must. Be sure to save room for some homemade blueberry treats, too!  

Musikfest | August 1st - 10th | Bethlehem, PA

Musikfest is a huge musical celebration held each summer in Bethlehem, PA.  Whether you want to catch a small local Lehigh Valley, PA band perform in one of several venues throughout Bethlehem, or see a headliner on the main stage, Musikfest has you covered. Spanning 10 days, this festival offers more than 500 free performances, delicious food vendors, local and national artisans, and lots activities for everyone in the family.  In addition to all the free performances, tickets to headline concerts featuring some of the biggest names in music are also available.  This year’s headliners are: ZZ Top | August 1st The All-American Rejects | August 2nd Jason Derulo | August 3rd Sheryl Crow | August 4th The Moody Blues | August 5th Steely Dan | August 6th The Avett Brothers | August 7th Alan Jackson | August 8th Weezer | August 9th Keith Urban | August 10th  

Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival | Now - August 3rd | Center Valley, PA

The Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival presents a great season of Shakespearean plays as well as a selection of other classic plays.  Celebrating more than 20 years of fantastic performances, the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival has become a great Lehigh Valley, PA tradition. This year’s festival began in June and will conclude at the beginning of August. Plays being produced this summer  include: Macbeth, Women of Will, The Great Divorce, Fiddler on the Roof, The Two Gentlemen of Verona, and Lend me a Tenor.  

Lehigh Valley Ironpigs Baseball | Now - September 1st  | Allentown, PA

Enjoy America’s pastime by going out to Coca Cola Park in Allentown, PA. The Ironpigs belong to the Philadelphia Phillies franchise, so they’re Pennsylvania through and through.
