Local Sightings Film Festival | September - October

During the months of September and October, local filmmakers get to show their talents at screenings throughout Seattle.  Films screened include: feature length films, shorts, documentaries, experimental films, and music videos.  The juried competition provides Seattle artists with networking opportunities as well as exposure.  And it gives audiences the chance to view some amazing, fresh film work.  

Great Pumpkin Beer Festival | October 3rd - 4th

If you’re a fan of fall brews, head over to Seattle Center for Elysian Brewing’s Great Pumpkin Brew Festival.  There are over 60 beers on offer, local food trucks, and other special treats.  Adding to the fall flavor is the professional pumpkin carving display and The Great Pumpkin - a  giant pumpkin filled with a beer of Elysian’s choice. A truly unique event, this event has become a must for beer fans who are in Seattle in the Fall.  

Trucktoberfest | October 4th - 5th

One of many ways to experience great food and drink in Seattle in the Fall, Trucktoberfest ()  is a new food festival being held at Husky Stadium.  There will be 35 food trucks to choose from, so you’re sure to be able to find something to satisfy your appetite. Along with the scrumptious food, more than 15 beers, many locally brewed and Oktoberfest themed, will be available to attendees.  And a pairing guide will help you find the perfect food-brew combo.  

St. Demetrios Greek Festival | October 10th 12th

The St. Demetrios Greek Festival gives visitors a chance to celebrate Greek culture, cuisine, and entertainment.  Sample Greek delicacies such as calamari, lamb, baklava, and more! Everything is prepared as freshly and with care, so you’ll have an authentic experience.  After you eat, take in the live entertainment from Taki and the Mad Greeks and several Greek dance groups.  Other events include Greek church tours, game booths, shopping, and wine tasting.  

Earshot Jazz Festival | October 10th - November 8th

The Earshot Jazz Festival is an annual event in Seattle in the Fall that celebrates the city’s place in jazz culture.  Earshot has been called “Seattle’s most important annual jazz event” by DownBeat.  Artists from around the world come to Seattle to collaborate with local musicians, educators and audiences.  Come to the festival if you’re a fan of music and you might just gain a deeper understanding of the medium of modern jazz.  

Seattle Restaurant Week | October
