And finally, dine local. Order off the Dine Around Seattle Prix Fixe menu at the restaurant of your choice and support the local economy. See how simple? Every dollar spent at a local independent business creates three times more jobs, income and wealth for the community than a dollar spent at a national chain.

For more than a dozen years, Dine Around Seattle has connected tens of thousands of residents with the best of Seattle’s restaurants. It contributes millions to the local economy and strengthens the community. Dine Around Seattle is presented by the Seattle Good Business Network in an attempt to get the word out on why local matters. Seattle Good Business Network is a nonprofit network of residents and local businesses that are attempting to build a vibrant, self-reliant local economy. Learn more about the network here.

We at Select Registry hope you’ll dine local and that you will choose to stay with one of our members. Just minutes from Seattle, Shafer Baillie Mansion is an urban bed and breakfast located in the Capitol Hill neighborhood. It’s close to downtown Seattle, yet a world away, as it sits on a tree-lined street a block away from Volunteer Park. Some guests have compared it to “Downtown Abbey,” but every guest agrees the Tudor Mansion will welcome you to another era as you step inside. The Shafer Baillie Mansion was built in 1913 and has been restored and renovated. No inch of the 14,000 square foot mansion has been left untouched.

As you learn more about the Shafer Baillie Mansion, we suggest checking out Select Registry on Facebook. A collection of North America’s most distinctive Inns, we’ll help you experience the Select Registry Difference.
