The Lodge at Moosehead lake, is positioned high on a hill with a grand overlook of the lake and mountains, and because of its westerly view is able to capture the sun as it sets over one of the finest landscapes remaining in the Northeast.

The Moosehead Lake region offers visitors the opportunity to experience pure wilderness, unspoiled and relatively untouched by urban sprawl. It is hard to imagine large tracks of land still remaining undeveloped, as are found in the Moosehead Lake region. Activities such as hiking, mountain biking, boating, remote wilderness tours, whitewater rafting, skiing, dogsledding, and wildlife safaris await those who want to discover the "Jewel of the Northeast."
