Guest Reviews

We are so glad we found this little piece of paradise. We had the most relaxing couple of days exploring the property and surrounding area. The room was cute and cozy. The best part of our stay was the AMAZING food and friendliness of the people. Would love to come back!

This is my third trip to Fort Lewis Lodge. It’s a wonderful place that I recommend to everyone. We stayed in the lodge this time and paid a little extra for the adjoining bedroom. It was worth it to have the extra space for our luggage. The service and food were outstanding as usual. Everything about it is peaceful.

We just finished our 3rd trip to Fort Lewis. It was amazing. If you want to get away and relax, Fort Lewis is just the place. The grounds are beautiful, lots of walking trails and a beautiful river to swim in, fish or even kayak in.Some of my favorite things to do are to visit the cows, go birding, or sit by the crackling fire. The rooms are beautiful...See More

The lodge may be a little out of the way but well worth the journey. Our room was as nice as any Ritz we have stayed and the food was amazing. If you are looking to get away and unwind there is nothing better. Thank you for the hospitality! Mark W.

Sad we had to leave, can't wait to go back! It's the "Yellowstone Ranch of Virginia" in my opinion. Only a few hours from northern VA, but feels a world away in unspoiled nature. There are stunning scenic views, great food, friendly staff and beautiful rooms on a working cattle farm. Truly a place where you can disconnect for the better.
