Combining both the beautiful features of the 1880 home and present day amenities, The William Henry Miller Inn has often been referred to as the show piece of downtown Ithaca New York.
Designed by Cornell University's first architecture student, the Tiffany stained glass and American chestnut woodwork are often the first things guests notice as they walk through the original doors. Guests are from all over the world and here for business and pleasure alike. Home to both Cornell University and Ithaca College and built on the shores of the beautiful Cayuga Lake, part of the Finger Lakes, Ithaca provides an amazing array of things to do---wineries; museums; first class theater and restaurants galore.

We want comfort to be the key word at The William Henry Miller Inn. All of our nine guest rooms have a private bath; cable television; hair dryer; hand ironed sheets; CD player; Casablanca fan; wireless Internet access and, in the warmer weather, air conditioning.
Four rooms are on the second floor of the Inn; three on the third floor (all on the third floor have individual heat controls) and two are in The Carriage House.
The Garner Suite in The Carriage House has private entrance; separate sitting room; individual heat controls and is pet friendly.
Aurora in The Carriage House is a most comfortable room with private entrance; individual heat controls, porch and is fully ADA approved handicap accessible.

Plain and simple. We LOVE food. We LOVE breakfast. And we love to offer a dessert buffet nightly.
Breakfast is offered within a two hour window so that guests can come early, late or stay the entire time! Beginning with sweet breads, a choice of juice and always available coffee and tea, they then progress to a fruit course and choice of either sweet or savory entree with all the accompaniments. Bread of the day is always homemade and may be a homemade English Muffin; Wheat with Black Sesame Seeds; Honey Oat or Country White.
For those guests leaving before breakfast, a packed breakfast is always an option.
About 8PM, guests will find homemade desserts on the side board in the dining room. Always faced with the dilemma of "should I try it all at once", the choices may be a Triple Chocolate Cake; our reknowned White Chocolate Brownies; everyone's favorite...Lemon Bars or choose from the three or four selections of cookies. Fruit....for the strong of will.....is always available.
Our beverage cart is always available in the Dining Room as well. Coffee, an assortment of tea, syrups, hot chocolate and homemade marshmallows are available.
