The Inn On First is redefining breakfast one dish at a time. Jim and Jamie provide a communal table where guests come to breakfast at their leisure during the scheduled breakfast time. Fresh coffee, tea, orange juice, fresh fruit, yogurt, house-made granola, cereal and milk, and a house-made pastry begin the meal at a sideboard. When guests finish the first course they are served a hot entree at table. Currently Chef Jim Gunther has over 105 breakfasts to choose from (he is working toward 250) and is committed to not repeating breakfast for any of his guests, whether it be their 1st visit or their 25th (current record holder for a single couple). A sampling of what to expect: Tomato Soup with Grilled Cheese Croutons and Poached Eggs; Breakfast Lasagna with house-made Pasta Noodles, scrambled eggs, house-made Sausage, Ricotta Cheese, Bacon, and a Roasted Tomato Sauce; Cornmeal Gorditas with house-made Chorizo Sausage, Tomatillo Sauce, and Poached Eggs with a Side Salad tossed with Cilantro Vinaigrette; Chocolate Truffle Pancakes with Whipped Mascarpone and Fresh Strawberries; house-made Raviolini Pasta stuffed with Mozzarella, Fresh Basil and Oregano, served with Lemon Butter, Roasted Red Pepper, and a Fried Egg; Cherry-Pecan stuffed French Toast with a Pecan Crunch topping and house-made Caramel Sauce. The Inn On First is equipped for small groups that wish to meet in an intimate and comfortable environment, up to 10 people. With outdoor gardens to gather in during the summer, a large living room during the winter, and a large communal table for meals. Breakfast is included. Lunch and Dinner can be negotiated with local caterers and restaurants to supply the food. The Inn On First is happy to provide the dining room for all inclusive meals. Snacks and afternoon refreshments are provided each day.

Weddings Description:

:: $12,500 (December through March), $14,500 (April through November)- up to a maximum of 21 guests. All weddings require the whole inn to be rented. All wedding guests must be guests of The Inn On First with a minimum two-night stay. Three night stays are required for holiday weekends (3^rd night will be added to the price).

Summary:

2-night stay for bride and groom and up to 19 wedding guests: 10 rooms (2 Queen, 8 King- one room can accommodate one extra person)- maximum of 21 people.

Napa's best bed and breakfast inn is the perfect place for that small intimate wedding. We only do on-site weddings when the whole inn is booked by your guests for a minimum of two nights. The cost of the 10 rooms is included with the package, and includes one extra bed that can be accommodated in one of our largest suites. Thus we are limited to 21 people total, including the bride and groom. We provide you with a wedding coordinator to help plan your day. With unlimited phone and email support 2 months prior to the date she will ensure your day is trouble-free, will help you obtain your Napa County license, as well as provide on-site day-of coordination services. You can select from her a la carte menu of options if you would like her to arrange photography, flowers, cake, or a musician, such as a solo harpist or guitarist. You are welcome to utilize the sound system for your listening pleasure. The night of arrival we will provide a wine and cheese reception for you and your guests to enjoy in the living room or the outdoor patio (weather permitting).

We will put you in touch with a Presider who will help you plan out the ceremony that is just right for you, and who will officiate at the wedding on your special day. At the end of the service you and your guests will be provided with a champagne toast . The ceremony may take place as early as 11:00 a.m. and as late as 5:00 p.m. You will then have use of the inn (dining room, living room foyer, and outdoor garden space) for a three-hour reception. The ceremony and reception are both restricted to in-house guests only. Our wedding coordinator will help you arrange an in-house catered reception, made available as part of her a la carte menu.

There is a 90-day cancelation policy. All cancelations carry a 15% of total penalty. 50% of deposit is due at time of reservation and is non-refundable within 90 days of date of arrival. Full amount due 30 days prior to arrival and is non-refundable.
