Welcome to Stonecroft Country Inn, a Mystic B&B nestled on 6.5 rolling acres of lush lawns and terraced gardens in the Connecticut countryside. Originally the 1807 estate of Sea Captain Shubel Smith, Stonecroft offers two distinct lodging options amidst an atmosphere of relaxation and romance. Stonecroft is family owned and operated with a friendly and attentive staff. We pride ourselves on our warm personal service.
Start your day with a full country breakfast; then relax with a trip to area attractions and casinos while you take in the countryside. Return for a wonderful meal in our elegant dining room (Wednesday thru Saturday nights) and enjoy after-dinner drinks on the terrace around our fire pit overlooking the pond and gardens.

Stonecroft Country Inn, an 1807 sea captain’s country estate, consists of a sunny Georgian colonial and our recently renovated Grange. The 1807 House, listed on the National Historic Register, has four common rooms, six fireplaces, and four exceptional guest rooms with private baths, three with fireplaces (no TVs). The Grange contains six luxury guest rooms and our dining room.

Talented and innovative, Chef Trevor Douglas's creative menus delight the palettes of our discerning dinner guests. Every dish is a delight — whether hearty and robust or flavorful and light. Featuring only the finest quality fresh meats, fish, and produce, and seasonal herbs and vegetables, every dish is a delight. A seasonally changing dinner menu is supplemented with daily special offerings which take advantage of the freshest available ingredients. Stonecroft Restaurant has a full service bar and an extensive wine list including "by-the-glass" selections.
Savor an elegant candlelit dinner near a crackling fireplace and relaxed, friendly surroundings. Exposed rock walls of the original barn structure create a "country elegant" atmosphere for a lovely meal with family, friends or colleagues. And in warmer seasons, dine al fresco in our backyard covered terrace alongside our colorful flower gardens and pond.
Dinner is served in the Stonecroft Dining Room by advanced reservations only - Wednesday thru Saturday nights.
BREAKFAST
Breakfast at our Mystic bed and breakfast is sure to be one of the most memorable parts of your visit. Dine at your convenience between 8:30 and 10:00 a.m. in the graceful dining room of the 1807 House, the full dining room in The Grange, or in the landscaped stone terrace overlooking the grapevine-shaded pergola and water garden.
Our sumptuous multi-course morning fare features homemade baked goods and entrees prepared with seasonal, local ingredients. Savor a fresh fruit parfait, aromatic eggs, quiche and Russian potatoes, fluffy French toast or pancakes. The scent of fresh brewed coffee wafts through the air. Our inspired kitchen creations will delight your senses and fortify you for a day of exploring the Mystic area.

Great for your larger events, our 1,025-square-foot Dining Room offers the best location for formal meetings, roundtable discussions, and presentations. The French doors open to a 325-square-foot covered terrace for more seating space and outdoor meals.
