Once every three days a couple chooses Romantic RiverSong Inn as their hideaway in the Colorado Rockies to elope. The inn is secluded on 27 wooded acres with towering Blue Spruces and Ponderosa pines, quiet ponds, hiking trails and tree swings. With only ten guest rooms, the inn has achieved a marvelous balance with its luxurious rooms (radiant heated floors, jetted tubs for two by a crackling fire) and nature. These lovely rooms are merely background to the mountain melodies of songbirds and a rushing mountain stream. Mountain mornings start in the inn dining room by the warm fire, a cup of coffee and just out of the oven lemon blueberry muffins. A delicious full country breakfast follows to provide the energy for hiking in near-by Rocky Mountain National Park. You can actually see the Continental Divide from the large great room windows of the inn. Our winter guests enjoy the Park’s quiet while hiking those same trails on snowshoes.
