There is plenty to do in and around Taylorville, Illinois. Our inn is minutes from Springfield and Decatur, Illinois right in the Heart of Lincolnland. The area is filled with dining, historical sites, quality music, golf courses, and places to fish. Just 6 short blocks from our front door is the Lincoln Prairie bike trail and, at TAZ, the opportunity to jump out of a perfectly good airplane. If you fly in just call and we will provide shuttle service to our inn.
Our guest rooms offer you the finest of quality linens, comfortable bedding and even a whirlpool tub if you choose. Six original fireplaces warm our home and electric replica fireplaces serve in other rooms.

A visit to our full website will show you all of our guest rooms. The Market Street Inn features 3 King/whirlpool rooms, 4 Queen/whirlpool rooms & 3 Queen/shower only rooms one of which is accessible. Two rooms have original coal burning fireplaces which have been converted to gas log while most of the rest of the rooms have an electric replica fireplace.
