Each of the five spacious guest rooms is lightly decorated with antiques and oriental carpets, all in keeping with their themes of faraway places. Sleep in utmost comfort on feather-topped beds dressed with 1000 thread count luxury linens. (Hypoallergenic bedding is available upon request.)

Far East Room

Harmony and balance, the basis of Feng Shui and a precept of Chinese tradition, offers guidelines for living in harmony to assure that there is love, health, and wealth in our lives. The Far East Room was designed using the five elements of Feng Shui to ensure the comfort and harmony of its guests. A few carefully placed Asian antiques in combination with a soft color palette, complemented with a touch of red for energy, create a soothing space in which to rest and revitalize your spirit.

Maine Coastal Room

Nothing is friendlier or more welcoming than a summer cottage in Maine. Quilts, painted furniture, and sloped walls with a dormer will make you feel as if you've traveled "down east" without the drive. The highlight of the room is a traditional New England clothes press (armoire) beautifully finished and custom-made for the room by local craftsmen. Close your eyes and you'll smell the salt spray and hear the waves crashing on the rocks.

Provence Room

You'll feel as if you’ve traveled to the sunny south of France when you stay in the Provence Room. Yellow faux-finished walls set the tone finished with toile draperies and a chaise beckoning you to relax. On chilly evenings, press a button on the remote control and enjoy a cozy fire. Close your eyes and listen to one of the French CDs provided in the room and you'll think you're really in Provence.

Tuscany Room

Enjoy the old-world feel of the Tuscany Room with faux-finished walls, a 100-year old armoire and four-poster wood and bronze bed. The only guest room with a bay window, the Tuscany Room is decorated in colors of sage and bronze exuding warmth and romance.

Williamsburg Room

Experience the 18th century capital of Virginia while enjoying all the modern comforts of the present. Furnished with pieces typical of the period, you’ll find the Williamsburg room has a unique appeal of its own. A mahogany canopy bed, a Queen Anne wing chair and 1790’s blanket chest crafted with hand-made nails add grace to the room. Relax in front of a warm fire on cool nights and enjoy the slower pace of an earlier time.

Trained professionally in French cuisine, Lisa prepares everything from scratch ranging from bagels and croissants to fresh fruit tarts and cinnamon rolls, as well as her granola, which has a following all its own.

The Inn’s signature WineDown Hour offers select wines and decadent hors d’oeuvres on the wrap-around porch or in the courtyard in the company of friendly people

The Inn at Onancock offers small wedding and elopement packages, ideal for those seeking a warm, romantic, intimate wedding ambiance. We take the stress out of planning your small wedding or elopement by doing most of the work for you.

At The Inn at Onancock, you're only a short drive to wine tasting at vineyards, award-winning golf courses, the beach at the sea or on the Chesapeake Bay, sport fishing, hang-gliding, horseback riding, antiquing and more. 

Small Wedding Package $2,700
