This 180 year-old colonial house is located on the northeastern side of Crotched Mountain. An awe-inspiring setting and a spectacular view of the Piscatagoug Valley makes all the difference at this out-of-the-way Colonial Inn. Walking and ski trails through the woods, vegetable and flower gardens supply food and adornment for tables and rooms. Rose Perry’s savory home cooking has the added zest of an occasional Indonesian dish. John and Rose, who have been operating the Inn since 1973, and their three English Cockers, look forward to welcoming you.

Built in 1822 as a New England farmhouse, the historic Inn at Crotched Mountain in Francestown, New Hampshire once served as a stop on the Underground Railroad, helping slaves escape to Canada. John and Rose Perry purchased the home in 1976. They have been working ever since to preserve and respect its rich, historical past while providing modern bed and breakfast lodging accommodations.
