The luxurious Inn at 202 Dover in Easton, Maryland features just four suites and one guest room and each is decorated in a completely different style.  Ron and Shelby Mitchell, the owners of the Inn at 202 Dover, decided that each room should provide a unique ambiance representative of a different time or place, thereby enabling guests to select the setting that most closely aligns with the experience they wish to have.

FEELING ADVENTUROUS?

The Safari Suite may be right on target. With its earthen colors and African inspired décor — The Safari Suite is located in the southern end of the Inn on the second floor.  Guests enter the suite via a short staircase to the sitting room, which has a vaulted cathedral ceiling and features a sofa, two easy chairs, a writing desk with chair, and a flat panel television.  Just to the left is the bedroom, which has a king-size bed, sitting area, and gas fireplace.  The suite also has a very large bathroom with steam shower, corner air jet tub, and bush-inspired vanity and fixtures.  For more info, click here.

CHANNELING MARIE ANTOINETTE?

The French Suite transports you to another era in a five-star French Chateau.  With its calming blues, creams, and whites, The French Suite also happens to be the Inn’s only dog-friendly suite as it offers a door with direct access to the outside.  Upon entering the suite and turning to the right, the pocket doors open onto the bedroom with a white French provincial king-sized bed and décor that is truly luxurious.  The sitting room to the right is light and airy with a sofa, chairs, and writing desk, with the bathroom offers a steam shower, air jet tub, and gold cherub fixtures for luxurious bathing. 

 READY TO CHINTZ IT UP?

The English Suite is everything one would expect — featuring beautiful chintz and silk fabrics and rich mahogany wood that evokes the feeling of the English countryside.  Located on the second floor of the Inn, The English Suite encompasses the entire front of the building.  It is bathed in light from bay windows in the bedroom and sitting room.  Guests enter the suite through a charming foyer.  To the left is the bedroom and to the right is the sitting room.  The suite features a combination of antique and authentic antique reproduction furniture.  The king-sized bed faces a huge bay window with window seat.  The fabric evokes a feeling of the English countryside.  The sitting room has a desk, cable TV, high-speed Internet access, and telephone.  The bathroom is luxurious with a steam shower and traditional fixtures; the air jet tub sits under a wall of windows.  The English Suite and the Victorian Bedroom may be combined to create a two-bedroom, two-bath suite. 

 WANT TO GO EXOTIC?

The Asian Suite transports guests to the Orient with its bamboo and Asian rosewood furnishings! Located at the top of the stairs on the second floor, The Asian Suite features a sitting room to the left of a short hallway and the bedroom to the right with a bamboo canopy king-sized bed, luxurious linens, and a gas fireplace.  The sitting room is bright with afternoon light filtered through two walls of original windows and features a sofa, chairs, television, and writing desk.  The bathroom features the home’s original subway tile, steam shower, and air jet tub.  

TAKE A STEP BACK IN TIME!

The Victorian Bedroom overlooks the conservatory and garden area and is decorated true to the era with a queen-sized iron bed and two comfortable chairs.  The bathroom features an air jet tub and rain shower.  The Victorian Bedroom can be combined with The English Suite to provide a two-bedroom, two-bath suite.
