Nestled in a private valley on seven acres and surrounded by the Green Mountain National Forest, Fox Creek Inn is the perfect getaway to experience a Vermont country inn. Our location feels remote, and certainly does assure peace and tranquility, but we are delightfully close to many local attractions and outside activities. We are located between Killington/Pico mountains and downtown Rutland. Additionally, Woodstock, Quechee Gorge, Middlebury and Manchester are all just a gentle 45 minute drive away.
With only eight rooms we can ensure highly personalized attention for all of our guests. Our meals are prepared with the freshest local ingredients and are designed to suit all tastes and dietary needs. Complimented by our full bar and excellent wine cellar, your dining experience will enable you to come home in the evening to relax and unwind after a full day of activities in the Vermont countryside.

We offer eight spacious guest rooms, comprising king, queen and twin bedding. All rooms have private baths, most have spa tubs and many have fireplaces. Additionally, each room and bath has separate temperature controls for your comfort. Wonderful linens, fluffy towels, warm robes and a decanter of sherry await your arrival. Our rooms do not have telephones, but there is WiFi throughout the Inn.

While there are some excellent restaurants in the area, you may prefer to take advantage of our delicious four-course candlelit dinner available by advanced reservation. You will find a variety of choices, simply and healthfully prepared from the freshest ingredients possible. With prior notification we are delighted to cater to vegetarians. We always pay careful attention to any dietary requirements or restrictions our guests may have.
We take great pride in our food and strive to make your dining experience something you will remember. We serve a full Vermont- style country breakfast, and dinner is an event. Our dining room seats a maximum of 18 people, allowing us to provide a high level of service. We offer an extensive wine list and will be pleased to help you with a selection.
Dinner is one seating at 7:00 pm.
We offer a four course table d'hôte menu most evenings.

Fox Creek Inn is a wonderful location for small weddings or as a setting to restate your vows to the one you love. Because the inn is relatively small we try to keep the group size to under 20 as this enable as high degree of personalized attention and ensures a wonderful setting regardless of weather conditions. This size also enables us to offer you in-house catering or we will be pleased to coordinate with a caterer of your choice.
