This rambling and historic eighteenth century Inn is a peaceful and romantic country inn in central New England. Situated on 5+ acres, the inn is the perfect choice for a weekend getaway, celebration or honeymoon night! Period antiques, warm down comforters, and genuine hospitality are the hallmarks of the inn. Completely air conditioned, all 14 guest rooms offer private bathrooms and telephones, some with fireplaces and two person whirlpools. Two luxury carriage house suites include jacuzzi's for two, rainwater showers, french door to deck overlooking the in ground pool, CD/TV/DVD; the ultimate in romance.
Classic New England scenery abounds around this village on the Contoocook River with its own covered bridge. Just 90 minutes North of Boston, the Colby Hill Inn is an ideal getaway spot for seeing New England…or doing nothing at all!
Relax around our in-ground pool in the summer or hike and bike the nearby trails from our front door. In winter, skiing and tubing are just minutes away at Pat's Peak or Mt. Sunapee. Nearby enjoy the Contocook River, Lake Sunapee and countless antique shops and museums including the Shaker Canterbury Village. We're just an hour from Vermont, the Seacoast and a little over an hour and a half from the White Mountains.

Each of our 14 individually decorated guest rooms has a private bath, telephone (with private line), CD radio/alarm clock, and data port. Some have wood-burning or gas fireplaces and two-person whirlpools. Cozy down comforters, in-room bathrobes and hairdryers, along with king- and queen-sized beds, (some rooms have two beds or a sleeper sofa for a third guest) provide a peaceful environment for your getaway. We have central air conditioning throughout as well as complimentary Wi-Fi access! Each guestroom is unique; many have Oriental rugs, period antiques, four-poster beds, and individual touches not found in most lodgings. |
