Casa de las Chimeneas is 2 ½ blocks from the historic center of town, Taos Plaza.  Built on 7/10 of an acre with a high wall and seventeen large trees around the perimeter, it seems secluded and apart from the bustle of town, yet is close to all the historic sites, shops and restaurants.

There are three fountains, a large high desert xeric garden, a kitchen herb garden and an English cottage-style garden with roses.  For a virtual tour of our gardens go to http://www.visittaos.com/gardens/index.php

Willow Room - Southwestern room with either king or two twin beds, carved yellow pine headboard from Mexico and Pendleton blanket spreads in the Blue Mountain pattern.  Comfortable overstuffed chairs flank a Mexican leather and split cedar table.  A Spanish-style trastero houses the TV and provides drawers space.  There’s an antique writing table as well. The bath has a large tiled shower and skylight.  $195 for two.  View at http://www.visittaos.com/accommodations/willow.php
