Our guests start the day with fresh baked muffins, coffee and the newspaper, served by "James" the wooden butler. A full country breakfast is served in the Mansion. During the warmer months, guests will find dinner being served on the veranda overlooking the formal gardens. When the season turns chilly, dinner guests adjourn to our "Smokehouse," with a brick floor and large fireplaces. Dinner starts with half an hour of evening hors d’oeuvres served in our formal drawing rooms and is followed by a six-course dinner (created daily by our chef) which features regional cuisine. Surrounded by twenty-three acres of breathtaking Maryland countryside, Antrim 1844 is a true respite from the cares of urban life. Guests may leisurely stroll about the grounds. Or for those who wish a more active form of recreation there is croquet, a target golf green, a tennis court of Nova Grass; horseshoes, and a swimming pool with gazebo.
