Behind the Inn is Spring Creek, site of the first Fish Hatchery in the United States. You can walk along the banks and see waterfalls, woods, and gardens—about eight acres in total. We have a lovely common space for relaxing and dreaming—the living room is hand-stenciled with an old Victorian pattern; our rooms are individually decorated with antiques and reproductions. Afternoon tea and home-baked cookies upon your arrival, with full country breakfast by candlelight, including our wonderful waffles with cider sauce.

Daily choices vary and include: Fresh fruit, cheese omelets, waffles with apple cider syrup,  eggs dishes, homemade breads. Breakfast room with wooden ceiling has a water view, fireplace, candlelight, and morning newspaper.

We also now offer with a few days notice private fly-fishing lessons, and our certified massage therapist will give you a half-hour or hour massage, facial or manicure.
