Dining Information

Glen-Ella Springs is widely recognized as the "best gourmet inn in the north Georgia mountains." Exceptional regional cuisine is served nightly to guests and visitors.

The inn's cuisine has been showcased in numerous publications such as Great Cooking with Country Inn Chefs by Gail Greco. In Fodor's 2001 Compass Guide to Georgia, well-known food writer John T. Edge says "Probably the best white tablecloth restaurant in the mountains can be found at Glen-Ella Springs Inn."  Glen-Ella Springs has been recognized as the "best gourmet inn in the north Georgia mountains" by Atlanta Magazine.

Chef David Knopp draws on regional recipes and local ingredients to create a distinctive American Continental cuisine with an added "touch of the South." With an acclaimed menu and specials that change daily, guests can try perennial favorites such as Herbed Mountain Trout Pecan, Jumbo Shrimp in Low Country Gravy over Fried Parmesan Grits, Rack of Lamb with Sweet Potatoes & Jalapeno-Mint Sauce, and Fresh Churned Strawberry Sorbet, Molten Chocolate Cake and Apple Bread Pudding with Cinnamon Ice Cream.

The Inn has consistently received the 'Silver Spoon' award for dining excellence from Georgia Trend magazine and voted as one of the Top 10 Dining Destinations in Georgia since 2004. The restaurant is open every evening by reservation.

Inn guests also enjoy a bountiful breakfast buffet daily, often prepared by owner Barrie Aycock herself, in the dining room or on the terrace overlooking the inn's garden.
