“5 Best Hotels to Open in 2007.” “Guest rooms are exquisitely decorated with fireplaces, marble baths, and cushy beds that you can float on...” ~Ottawa Citizen
Built during the exact time (1909-1911), the Ryan Mansion shares a unique connection with Titanic. Carved from English White Oak and imported from the Old World, the staircase at Ryan Mansion was crafted by the same masters who fitted the world famous liner, Titanic. To celebrate this unique connection, Ryan Mansion offers a “Weekend Getaway of Titanic Proportions” (see website for details).
Located in the affluent heritage district, Ryan Mansion is steps from downtown, prime tourist attractions, historic sites, and the Provincial Art Gallery. Guestrooms are lavishly fitted with designer furnishings, luxurious Italian linens by Frette, and luxe European amenities by L’Occitane en Provence.
Marble en suite baths feature heated floors and therapeutic tubs for two. Extravagant suites are arranged over 3 rooms and offer the ultimate in guest accommodation including en suite baths featuring personal steam/shower rooms and century old tubs carved from granite! A collection of local, national, and international artworks, sculpture and artifacts are exhibited throughout the mansion, and a cozy library offers a selection of books & games.
