There is never a dull moment in the park with over 25 miles of hiking trails including those at Ash Cave, Cedar Falls, Conkle's Hollow, Old Man's Cave, Rockhouse and Cantwell Cliffs and they are all within a short drive of the Inn. The entire year is filled with daily and/or weekly park programs including the Annual 6 mile Winter Hike, Sweetheart's Hike and live animal demonstrations with Ohio's birds of prey.

Attractions:

  • Hocking Hills State Park: 25 miles of hiking trails including the famous Old Man's Cave. Year around nature programs make this one of Ohio's premier places to get away.
  • Lake Hope State Park: Historically speaking, one of the coolest places to visit in Southeastern Ohio. There's Moonville Tunnel, Hope Furnace and trails with ghost towns.

Hiking, horseback riding and taking in the excitement of an outdoor drama, Tecumseh, are just a taste of what Inn visitors can enjoy close to their stay. Hikers won't get bored with nearly 25 miles of state park trails including Ash Cave, Cedar Falls, Old Man's Cave, Rock House and Conkle's Hollow. From Hemlock lined trails dotted with rock formations at Ash Cave to to the rugged cliffs of Conkle's Hollow, there's a taste of scenic beauty just about everywhere you go.

Hocking Hills State Park has a full time naturalist with educational hiks and monthly events and festivals including the Winter Hike in January, Sweetheart's Hike near Valentines Day and Astronomy outings.
