On the southern tip of Vancouver Island, Victoria, BC is an eclectic blend of old world charm and a spectacular natural environment.

Victoria BC Outdoors Victoria offers a range of biking and hiking opportunities, one of the most popular being The Galloping Goose Regional Trail, named for the gas-powered passenger car that carried mail and 30 passengers twice daily between Victoria and Sooke during the 1920s. As well, Victoria is a wonderful bird-watching area, with over 388 different species of birds having been recorded in this region. When you are visiting Victoria, we can help arrange a visit to the lovely gulf islands, just a short ferry ride away. From boat tours to fishing, kayaking, sailing and whale watching, visitors to Victoria will find numerous watersport activities to participate in (or watch!). We can arrange guided kayak tours, sailing expeditions, and whale watching. During the spring, summer and early fall, when low tides occur in daylight hours, we can arrange guided tours through the world of wild seaweeds, on Whiffen Spit, on the southwest coast of Vancouver Island near Sooke. The Seaweed Lady will introduce you to species samples of the more than 250 varieties of seaweed on the West Coast of Canada.
