Richard Sharp-Smith, the supervising architect of the Biltmore Estate, built this home for Mary S. Wolcott in 1899. Our home is on the National Register of Historic buildings and remains true to the original renderings. It has been beautifully restored to reflect the historic charm of it’s era, while providing modern comforts. Located on Montford Avenue, “The most fashionable street in Asheville 1895-1929” this is the premiere location to enjoy all the services and attractions of the city and surrounding area.
