In 1992, the The Inn at Sawmill Farm, received The Wine Spectator "Grand Award", "For one of the Greatest Wine Lists in the World." Wine Spectator's announcement of that award in August 1992 stated, in part,
"The wine list boasts many attractions. Chateau Latour is offered in 12 vintages, from 1955 to 1987. White Burgundies range from the rare Gouges Nuits-St.-Georges through the Puligny Montrachets of Sauzet and Leflaive and California Cabernets include classics such as 1968 Heitz Marthas Vineyard, 1970 Mayacamas and 1974 Ridge Monte Bello".
In fact, the wine cellar at The Inn at Sawmill Farm, located at Mount Snow, Vermont, offers verticals of Lafite, Mouton, Latour, Margaux and Haut Brion in 10-14 vintages each, ranging from 1955 through 1995. And the verticals of Heitz Marthas Vineyard (1973-1991) and Ridge Monte Bello (15 vintages from 1970-1996) are a rare find in anyone's cellar. Be our guest at your next stay at Mount Snow, enjoy our fine dining and award winning wine cellar.

Bordeaux, Burgundies and California wines are not the only stars of the list, however. For someone wanting to try something different, there are 35 selections from Alsace including such great estates as Domaine Weinbach, Zind Humbrecht and Trimbach, including Domaine Trimbach's spectacular Clos St. Hune.
"The Inn's list reads like vertical heaven and includes many that even seasoned collectors might be thrilled to find." - Wine Enthusiast
From the Rhone Valley, there are 13 vintages of Chateau Beaucastel Chateneuf-du-Pape and for something truly rare, there is a selection of 5 vintages of Beaucastel's Special Cuvee "Jacques Perrin." There are also 12 vintages of Jaboulet's Hermitage La Chapelle.
