The New England landscape offers the winter guest a wealth of quiet wooded areas in which to snowshoe, hike or cross country ski. Warmer weather invites the outdoorsman to our own tennis court, canoeing or fishing in our trout ponds, including fly-fishing lessons with an ORVIS guide, or simple relaxating next to our outdoor pool. The two gazebos offer restful areas for reading or daydreaming.

Ione Williams' bountiful flower gardens are a delight to behold while strolling on the grounds and provide luscious bouquets in the living room and dining rooms of the Inn.
