About This Property

Sometimes you have to be a little adventurous just to find Amelia Island...It's not on all the maps. And our bright lights have names like the "Big Dipper". It is getting away. and the Elizabeth Pointe Lodge is also what it must have been like...the main house is constructed in an 1890's "Nantucket shingle-style" with a strong maritime theme.

Porches surround the main floor with an abundance of rockers, sunshine and lemonade. Newspapers are delivered to the room to start each day. A complimentary breakfast is served in an oceanfront sun room.

Our "Main Attractions" include sleeping late, breakfast on the porch overlooking the ocean, cuddling by the fireplace, sandpiper chasing on the beach, curio shopping by bike, kite flying, "rocker" reading on the porch, and barefoot beach walks.

The Pointe has three choices on the compound.  The Main House, the newly restored Ocean House, and the Miller Cottage.

MAIN HOUSE

All twenty guest rooms in the main house are different and it makes room hunting down the winding halls a pastime. Books, personal effects and maritime photos are everywhere. Oversized tubs and homemade snacks are all part of the fun.

OCEAN HOUSE

Recently redone in a West Indies style, these accommodations are the most luxurious on the property.  the Tradewinds and Breezes are popular with our honeymooners.  They have private sunning decks facing the ocean and the rooms are generous with over 450 sq. feet.

MILLER COTTAGE

This spacious accommodation has two bedrooms, two baths and  a large living room and private porch facing the ocean.  Great for 2 couples or a family.
