How to Get to Inns at Blackberry Common

Camden is located about halfway up the coast of Maine.

200 miles (4 hours) from Boston Airport. 60 miles (1 1/2 hours) from Bangor Airport. 85 miles (2 hours) from Portland Airport. Commuter air service also available to Portland (1/2 Hour)

By car from the South:
Interstate 95 into Maine.
As you near Portland, take Interstate 295 North. Do NOT stay on 95.
Take 295 to the Topsham exit (now exit 31, formerly 24).
At exit, turn right onto Route 196 for about 2 miles.
At end, take Route 1 north. Follow for about 45 miles, through Waldoboro.
About 5 miles past Waldoboro, turn left (west) onto Route 90 Camden.
Follow to end, about 15 miles. Turn left again onto Route 1 north.
Proceed about 1.5 miles into Camden. As you go down the hill into the village look for us on the right.

The Blackberry Inn is 1 1/2 miles from this intersection. Look for a large gray Victorian period house on the right or if after dark, look for the candles in the windows.

The Elms is 1 1/2 miles from this intersection. Look for a large yellow Federal period house on the right or if after dark, look for the candles in the windows.

By car from the North:
Take Route 1 South through to the center of Camden.
Leaving town there is a blinking yellow light at the intersection with a school.

The Blackberry Inn is .2 mile from this intersection. Look for a large gray Victorian period house on the right or if after dark, look for the candles in the windows.

The Elms is .2 mile from this intersection. Look for a large yellow Federal period house on the left or if after dark, look for the candles in the windows.
