The summer buffet includes a variety of hot and cold items. Winter offers self-serve expanded continental breakfast, which is also available in summer. Each morning between May and September, 2-3 hot items are set out in mid-morning. Here is a sampling of one of the buffet specialties throughout the week. Breakfast is included in the room rate. Along with a selection of seasonal fruit, gourmet blend coffee and tea, the following entrees are served on a rotating basis: Denver Omelette: Eggs, ham, cheese & mushrooms are combined in this fluffy omelette. Florentine Quiche: Spinach and gourmet cheeses are blended with eggs to make this mouth-watering dish. Mexican Frittata: a south of the border treat, with eggs, red peppers and cheeses. Stuffed French Toast: A rich creation that resembles a bread pudding. Features wild blueberry sauce, strawberries or other fresh fruit with cream cheese accents, as well as maple syrup. Sourdough Pancakes: Lightly sharp and delicious with fresh blueberries. A true Alaskan treat. Apple and cheddar frittata is light and unusual.
