- Heritage Touring : Latta has three National Register historic districts encompassing 93 commercial and residential properties. A printed walking/driving tour is available. The Dillon County Museum, recognized as one of the best small town museums in South Carolina, is three blocks from the Inn and free to the public. Many historic sites and unique towns are close by.

- Antique Shopping: Sixteen antique stores in the surrounding towns offer choices ranging from fine English furniture and paintings to South Carolina collectibles, at prices significantly less than Charleston and other tourist destinations. Twice a month on Saturday night enjoy the B&W Estate Auction in nearby Dillon.
