Our establishment has eight guestrooms comprised of deluxe guest rooms and two suites. Each is named after a mountain peak viewed from the Inn, appointed in individual charming country elegance, and offers king, queen or twin beds with private bath. We offer special touches like daily newspapers (Wall Street Journal, NY Times, Rutland Herald), a selection of books, magazines, CD’s, Baudelaire amenities, early morning fresh brewed coffee, and WiFi throughout.

Conservatory

Our newest addition is a spacious gem bathed in natural light with a 270 degree marvelous countryside and mountain view. Enjoy afternoon tea and fresh baked cookies in front of the hand carved wood mantle fireplace in comfortable chairs with an oriental rug beneath your feet. Relax with the newspaper on the overstuffed sofa with a gorgeous 6 panel antique coromandel screen as your serene backdrop. An antique pine farm table accommodates 10 guests for dining. All this is under a beautiful white pickled pine cathedral ceiling.

Living Room

An expansive living room focuses around an antique brick Wallingford fireplace inducing a sense of warmth and easy conversation at evening gatherings. You can cozy up on the Chesterfield leather sofa and enjoy the crackle of a wood fire and perhaps one of the guests will entertain you on the baby grand piano.

Library

With its classic white wall to wall book cases, our library is filled with a varied collection of literature, collectibles and artifacts. Curl up with an interesting book whether in the library, by the cozy fireplace, at bedtime, or on a porch rocker caressed by soft mountain breezes.

Dining Room

Your chef is owner Carol Calotta whose culinary expertise has flourished since her youth in Georgia learning all that a Southern kitchen has to offer. Carol further developed her skills in her world travels, most recently in Sicily. An avid gardener, Carol cultivates fresh vegetables and herbs for her recipes and our local fresh and organic produce fill out the rest. All this knowledge and love of food she brings to her cooking – for your pleasure.

We pride ourselves in offering you the seasons best most health giving ingredients, whether it’s the areas daily harvest, fresh brewed rich coffee or fragrant tea after a scrumptious meal. We offer a dining experience to be savored. A list of specially selected fine wines compliments the fine fare.
