Your chef while staying at Crisanver House is owner Carol Calotta. Carol’s culinary expertise has grown from her youth in Georgia learning all that a Southern kitchen has to offer. Carol has further developed her skills in her travels and most recently in Sicily. Carol has extensive knowledge of the wines, cheeses and pastas of Italy and through the local Garden Club has also cultivated a love for the various species of Vermont wild mushrooms she can use to enhance her delicacies. All this knowledge and love of food she brings to her cooking – for your delight.
The menu changes daily, but you can be assured that you will be served only the freshest health giving ingredients. From our local farmer’s market we bring you the area’s daily harvest, something you will appreciate when you experience one of her savory specialties such as the gourmet country breakfasts, fresh baked biscotti in the afternoon or a fabulous fruit cobbler for dessert.
We pride ourselves in offering you the best, whether it’s fresh fruit or orange juice in the morning, hot from our oven popovers, brewed rich coffee or fragrant tea after a scrumptious meal. Your dinner service features candlelight, Wedgewood China, crystal, linens and fresh flowers. You are sure to enjoy you dining experience at Crisanver House.
In warmer weather you may dine “alfresco” on the porch enjoying panoramic mountain views and sunsets. A private room for dining is also available for parties up to twelve.
Dinner reservations at the Inn are required. We are pleased to assist you with reservations at one of the areas many fine restaurants for which we maintain menus.
Bon Appetite!
