Michael and Carol Calotta purchased the property in 1971 and in the following decade began the complete renovation and rebuilding of the inn, it’s grounds and surrounding buildings.

Local artisans meticulously renovated and as the years advanced we have the wonderful additions of a heated swimming pool, tennis court and hiking trails. We built a gorgeous luxury cottage, the Millennium Barn to host larger weddings and events, and our most recent addition is the much touted and loved conservatory.

Our ever changing gardens and ground are a source of summer delight that are always part of our history in the making.
