“Almost heaven, Inn at Riverbend…What a place! What a view!”

That’s a quote from one of our first guests Memorial Day 2003, when Inn at Riverbend officially opened. Our hard work to design and construct this beautiful getaway is satisfied when others see the view and enjoy a getaway, even overnight, from the rigors of today’s world.

Situated in Southwestern Virginia, high on a bluff overlooking the New River, the oldest river in the United States, Inn at Riverbend offers a 180 degree view of mountains, the river, and a star filled sky on a clear night.

While the inn was newly built in 2003, our property is rich with history dating back to the 1700’s when the land was settled by a family with roots in England. Indian attacks, burnt cabins, stolen children are just some of the stories of happenings in times past.

All guests rooms and common areas look out to the view with decks, terraces and outdoor platforms circling the inn to allow guests to hear the distant trains, observe the deer as they cross to the meadow and listen to the many birds.

Seven rooms with private baths (some whirlpool tubs), wireless internet, satellite television, CD/IPOD radios, afternoon refreshments and a full breakfast are include in the daily rate. Enjoy coffee, tea, hot chocolate, fresh fruit water and soda at any time of the day from the beverage counter in the dining area.

The resident inn dogs, Jackson and Reeses, will welcome you on arrival with wagging tails and a desire to play outdoors.
