About This Property

In 1866 the then private residence and brewery is built. In 1906 and with the coming Prohibition, the brewery is shut down. From 1931 thru 1976, the property is an auto park with a small gas station and store. In 1985 the property converts to an inn as buildings are added. The current owners, Andy and Susie Plocher, have spent twelve years carefully rebuilding and upgrading the inn. The gas station and store are gone and have been replaced with lovely cottages and a two-story suite complex.

The inn is an example of upscale country architecture with Ralph Lauren and Lauren style appointments, original art, and grounds meticulously maintained with an informal atmosphere. The décor is comfortable, inviting, with hand hewn knotty pine paneling, and lodge pole pine trim crafted by Andy Plocher.
