2. SUNDRE PRO RODEO
Savour the performances of a lifetime at the Sundre Coors Light & Dodge
Ram Pro Rodeo. This rodeo is definitely here for the cowboy that lives inside
us all, no matter what your age. Not only can you take in 3 days of extreme
rodeo action, including the thrilling mutton bustin’, but the food and
hospitality that define this rodeo will leave you wondering why you aren’t

3. THREE HILLS FCA RODEO
One of the largest FCA Rodeos in Alberta, ya’ll can see over 400 top
cowboys and cowgirls compete for glory in such events as bareback riding, bull
riding, barrel racing and also Gymkhana events, which are various games on
horseback. This rodeo is also a gem for all you steel buffs, as you’ll
witness the rare occasion of over 40 vintage tractors showing off their muscle
in the ever-popular tractor pull event, demonstrating just how the western

4. GUY WEADICK MEMORIAL RODEO & NORTH AMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIP CHUCKWAGON
RACES
Experience the peaceful splendor of Foothills Country and the spine-tingling
action of the Wild West at the Guy Weadick Memorial Rodeo named after Guy Weadick,
remembered by Albertans as the father of the Calgary Stampede. High River's
most famous attraction is The North American Chuckwagon Races which are definitely
not to be missed but also experience such events as Steer Daubing, Calf Roping,
Bull Riding and also for the youngens, the Woolly Bucks Scramble. High River
is rich in history and heritage and steeped in the culture of the West and

5. MOUNTAINVIEW COUNTRY FAIR AND PRO RODEO
Coined, “The Biggest Little Fair in the West”, the Mountain View
County Fair & Rodeo is home to one of the largest summer livestock shows
in the province, and the largest display of horticulture, baking, and handicrafts
exhibits in Western Canada. This rodeo features chariot and chuckwagon races
also known as the "half mile of hell", named this because of the
blazing competition, uncertain weather conditions and the raw speed and talent
that define this event. A long running tradition, this fair and rodeo have
been around since 1899. Be sure to check this rodeo out!

6. MILLARVILLE RODEO & FAIR
Grab your cowboy hat and head on down to the Priddis and Millarville Fair
and Foothills Cowboy Association Rodeo. Each year, this community looks forward
to events such as bull riding, steer wrestling, saddle and bareback bronc riding,
barrel racing and calf roping. Millarville is also known for the Greatest Outdoor
Market in Alberta. Be prepared to be on the edge of your seat for one of the

7. AIRDRIE PRO RODEO
This rodeo has it all and then some. Ranked 4th in Canada for contestant entries,
the Airdrie Pro Rodeo in one of the largest rodeos in the country. Enjoy the
scenery of the Albertan countryside while you take in events such as tie down
roping, mini chuckwagon races, steer wrestling, team roping, barrel racing
and bareback bronc riding. There is no better way to celebrate Canada’s
birthday, then to celebrate it with cowboys and cowgirls. This rodeo is heaven
for all you rodeo fanatics.

8. RICHARD COSGRAVE MEMORIAL PRO RODEO
This rodeo is big business in Alberta as the spirit of this rodeo epitomizes
the spirit of Alberta. All rodeos are extreme competitions, but this rodeo
doesn’t give a cowboy a second chance. Watch as cowboys and cowgirls
rodeo for all they are worth in events including steer wrestling, saddle bronc,
barrel racing & wild horse race. Drumheller is a great setting for any
event but is a spectacular setting for a Pro Rodeo, so sit back and enjoy the
ride.

9. PETE KNIGHT DAYS & RODEO
Once you get rodeo in your blood, it's hard to think about anything else.
So if you need your rodeo fix, head on down to Pete Knight Days named after
Pete Knight, the toughest bronc rider of the entire twentieth century. At Pete
Knight Days, you can witness, first hand, events such as bull riding, steer
wrestling, calf roping & bareback bronc riding. So come on down and feel,
smell and taste the first class action that this rodeo provides.

10. STRATHMORE HERITAGE DAYS
Watch a legacy of the past be reborn as some of world’s best cowboys
and cowgirls test their skills against the toughest rodeo stock at one of Canada's
largest and richest professional rodeos. Don’t miss out on such events
including, Saddle Bronc, Bareback, Bull Riding, Calf Roping, Steer Wrestling,
and Ladies Barrel Racing. Heritage Days also proudly presents the intense World
Professional Chuckwagon Association (WPCA) Finals. In 2003, this rodeo also
