Fine Dining Lakeside Al Fresco or By Firelight
The stunning new restaurant in the Aurora Inn is one of the few places in the Finger Lakes to dine outdoors with views of Cayuga Lake and its spectacular sunsets. During cooler months, there is always a fire blazing on the hearth.
Start the day with a hearty breakfast on our glass porch. Fresh-squeezed orange juice, piping hot coffee and tea served in pretty silver pots and a basket of warm breads add a special touch. Watch as flocks of Canadian geese land gracefully on the shimmering lake which stretches as far north and south as the eye can see.
Have lunch al fresco on our tree-shaded veranda while gazing at the vineyards and farm fields on the high bluffs that encircle the lake. Homemade soups, sandwiches on home-baked breads and salads made with greens from local gardens are menu favorites.
Tuck into an intimate booth or banquette for a leisurely dinner by candlelight. Flowers, crisp linens, sparkling crystal and silver, and flawless, friendly service set the mood. Our cuisine is traditional American country fare, inspired by the changing seasons and fresh regional products.
Linger in our lounge after dinner. The handsome mahogany bar serves spirits from around the world, including a selection of outstanding, but little-known wines from the Finger Lakes.
