Our elegant Lakeside Room can accommodate 90 guests for a sit-down dinner or up to 125 for a cocktail reception. During warmer months, French doors open onto an expansive stone terrace overlooking the lake. It's an idyllic spot for drinks and hors d'oeuvres or even a small luncheon or dinner.

The Aurora Inn also offers lakeside lawn weddings under pristine white tents for up to 200 guests. With soaring ceilings, shimmering white lights, large wooden dance floor and the splendor of the lake and lawns just beyond its bounds, the tent creates a truly magical environment day or night.

Plan your rehearsal dinner or a Sunday brunch at MacKenzie-Childs, the celebrated maker of hand-crafted tableware and home furnishings, located less than a mile from the inn on a picturesque 19th century dairy farm. The newly restored farmhouse there is a spectacular setting for a bridal luncheon or afternoon tea, while the guys play a round of golf at the Wells College course or relax over burgers and beer at the Fargo Bar & Grill.
