| The Rose Room is the only downstairs bedroom. It features lovely rose-patterned wallpaper and an enormous walnut Victorian Eastlake bedroom set. The bed is nine feet tall, and the marble-topped dresser is seven. The bed is almost a queen size, and the mattress was made to order for the set. There is a lady’s armchair done in a rose pattern fabric and a footstool in wine velvet. The artwork features roses, as does the framed antique sampler. The bathroom has both tub and shower and a delightful antique medicine cabinet. |

| | | | The Violet Room overlooks the side yard fountain and the front lawns. It features an early Victorian burled walnut bed, a large Eastlake lock side chest, and an early shaving stand. The bed is almost as wide as a queen, but not quite as long; the mattress was made to order for the bed. There is a beautiful wine-colored love seat by the front windows. The room also has a fireplace for cozy winter nights. The bathroom has a shower and a secret drawer…can you find it? |

An antique rocker and matching armchair sit by the front windows. This is a very large room, overlooking the front and side yards. | | | | The Tulip Room has views of a hundred-year-old Austrian pine tree and a fountain in the side yard. It has a walnut bedroom set with a queen-sized bed. A poignant framed poster from WWI by Bessie Wilcox Smith overlooks a down-filled love seat and an ornate shaving mirror on the west wall. The modern bathroom has a neo-angled shower. |

| | | | The Lilac Room overlooks the side yard with views of the fountain, patio, and swimming pool. From the windowseat one can often see deer wandering through the yard. There is a queen-sized bed with a crazyquilt on the rack at the foot of the bed. A Gothic-revival marble-topped dresser and a walnut commode share the rest of the room with an antique rocking horse, antique toys, and matching Victorian chairs. The bathroom has the original claw-footed tub, which has been painted with lilacs…a great place to soak away your cares. |

| | | | Located in the back of the house, behind the den, the Pansy Room was once the nanny’s room. A white iron bed sits between two Currier & Ives prints, lit by two pansy lamps. There is also a Victorian marble-topped dresser and two plum colored velvet chairs on an Oriental rug. Views of the fountain, patio, and pool can be seen from the windows. Interesting curved ceilings and a gas fireplace make this one of the coziest rooms. The Pansy Room has its own modern bathroom with an antique medicine cabinet. |
