From the arrival at the inn we were completely impressed. The manager Mr. Ward, lead us up to our room(#4), part of the original 1815 building, where we were greeted with beautiful airy old-country style. The canopy bed was gorgeous, the hardwood floors elegant and the atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for. We had a 2-person Jacuzzi tub, double sinks, gas fireplace and much more. The room also had modern ammenities, such as accessible wi-fi- and cable TV with plenty of channels. As part of the welcome we had in the room a bottle of sparkling wine along with a fruit and cheese plate. The roomhad two window that we thought were quaint, 1 looking over the battlefield area, and another facing the common area which used to be the outdoor porch of the building. When we showed up for breakfast in the morning, we were greeted with 2" thick Egg-Nog french toast with walnut butter, and local turkey sausage. It was to die for. Overall I would recommend the Inn to anyone. It is a 5 out of 5 for service, accomadations, and overall quality. We will be back.
