Dining Information

Of all the appealing features of the Fox 'n Hound, it is perhaps the sumptuous breakfast and specially prepared by by-request lunches and dinners that guests find most memorable.

Innkeeper Marlena Sacca, trained at the Culinary Institute of America, where she was also chef instructor, combines the freshest ingredients, in-season fruits and vegetables and her exceptional culinary skills to create an impressive array of traditional recipes and more exotic dishes with an ethnic flair.

Each morning, guests arriving in the inn's lovely formal dining room can expect to find fresh fruit cobblers, fresh baked scones, various strudels, muffins, fresh-brewed coffee and an assortment of specially blended teas.

That is only the beginning. What awaits guests next is a breakfast menu that changes daily and includes such dishes a poached eggs with smoked salmon and wasabi cream, chocolate waffles with dry fruit compote, garden frittatas, French toast with lemon curd and caramelized apples and cheese pancakes with poached grapes and vanilla raspberry sauce.

Visit the Fox 'n' Hound website for details on Marlena's new cookbook "Marlena's Secrets - Breakfast at the Fox 'n' Hound Bed and Breakfast.
