Lomi Lomi massage (Hawaiian style)

A traditional massage technique from the islands of Hawaii. Lomi Lomi meaning "massaging with caring hands". Lomi's energy comes from the use of movement to the client. This movement transfers to the client a spiritual connection much like a wave of the ocean or a tropical breeze, each movement feeding off of the next. The practitioner uses their forearm creating ironing, circling, sawing and soothing massage motions. The ironing is used for warm-up, circle and sawing is used for adhesion breakup and circulatory work.
