- Snowshoeing: Grafton Ponds if you need rentals or if you have your own snow shoes, head into Pisgah Park, a 11,000 State Park right here in Chesterfield.
- Ice-skating: on our pond if weather conditions are right (bring your own skates), or at the Nelson Withington Rink at Living Memorial Park in Brattleboro.
- Biking: on the road or in the woods, we can suggest routes for you. Or visit The West Hill Shop in Putney Vermont to get the last word from the biking authorities.
- Canoeing/Kayaking: a canoe for Connecticut River Safaris in Brattleboro
