- Cancellation Policy:
- If a guest needs to cancel for any reason, we do require at notification by telephone at least 14 days'(21 days from May 1-December 1 as well as holidays and special events and longer cancellation periods for groups) prior to arrival. With the advance notice, we will refund the deposit, less a cancellation fee of 10% of the total reservation.
- For cancellations with less notice, including reservation changes, late arrivals and early departures, guests are responsible for the payment of the reservation unless we are able to rebook the guestroom.
- If we are able to rebook any or all of the reservation, we will refund
the rebooked portion, less a service charge of 10% of the total reservation. Because we are a small inn with a strict cancellation policy, we do recommend that our guests purchase inexpensive travel cancellation insurance.
- Check-In: Check-in: 3:00 p.m
- Check-Out: Check-out: 11:00 a.m.
- Children: Children - well-behaved children 12 and over are welcome.
- Minimum night stay:
- Three-night minimum stay on Tanglewood Season weekends as well as most holiday weekends. Two-night minimum stay weekdays during Tanglewood and Foliage Seasons.
- Weekends during Tanglewood Season are Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
- Two-night minimum stay on weekends, excluding holiday weekends, from Labor Day through late June and for special summer events.
- Minimum stays are subject to increases for all holidays
- Pets: We do welcome well-behaved and well-trained dogs. There is a $25.00 daily pet fee. Quinn, our very friendly Golden Retriever hearing ear dog, provides our pet guests with Birchwood Inn dog beds, water bowl, treats, and poop bags. Quinn does not permit guest dogs in our public rooms.
- Reservation Policy: A one-night deposit is required with a major credit card or a check to be received within 7 days of making the reservation. A 50% deposit is required for stays of four nights or more.
- Smoking Policy: No smoking within the inn.
